Beverly Hills, California, January 6: The first major event of Hollywood’s awards season, the Golden Globes, held on Sunday night, saw ‘The Brutalist’ and ‘Emilia Perez’ as the main highlights. ‘The Brutalist,’ a story about a Holocaust survivor chasing the American dream, won the award for Best Film Drama. Its actor, Adrien Brody, was also honored as the Best Actor in a Drama.

Directed by Brady Corbet, the film also won the Best Director award. Additionally, ‘Emilia Perez’ secured the title for Best Musical or Comedy Film.

The Golden Globes, presented by entertainment journalists from around the world, kick off Hollywood’s awards season. In the television category, top honors went to ‘Hacks’ and ‘Shogun.’

At the 82nd Golden Globes ceremony, the entire team of ‘The Brutalist,’ including Brady Corbet, Felicity Jones, Adrien Brody, Guy Pearce, and others, were present to celebrate their victory for Best Film Drama.
