At least seven explosions were reported within 20 minutes in Dubai’s Jebel Ali industrial zone on Wednesday, raising fresh security concerns across the Gulf region.

According to NDTV, videos circulating on social media showed thick black smoke rising over the area following the blasts, prompting panic among nearby residents.

Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency, citing UAE officials, reported that at least seven explosions occurred within a short span. However, authorities have not officially confirmed the cause of the incident.

Reports also stated that two individuals were arrested for allegedly recording and sharing videos of the explosions on social media. No further details about the arrests have been released.

Several Iraqi media outlets claimed the blasts may have been linked to missile attacks launched from Yemen amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran. However, these claims remain unverified, and UAE authorities have not confirmed any missile strike.

Meanwhile, NASA satellite imagery reportedly detected a fire at a fuel storage and transfer facility near Jebel Ali Port. There has been no official confirmation regarding casualties or the extent of the damage.

Emergency services and security agencies have launched an investigation while maintaining heightened security around the affected area.
