Axiom REACH Foundation Continues Lifesaving Support for Pediatric Cancer Patients in Bangladesh

The Axiom REACH Foundation, a non-profit organization based in New Jersey, USA, continues to provide critical support to pediatric cancer patients in Bangladesh through its Children’s Cancer Fund (CCF). The fund offers essential medical assistance to children battling life-threatening diseases such as Leukemia, Lymphoma, Sarcoma, and blood disorders like Thalassemia and Aplastic Anemia. To date, Axiom’s CCF has successfully provided urgent medical care to over 70 children, ensuring they receive the life-saving treatments they need.

This week, Mr. Hafiz Sikder, Founder and President of Axiom REACH Foundation, visited Bangladesh to meet with young patients and their families. He toured several partner hospitals in Dhaka, including Ahsania Mission Cancer and General Hospital, Thalassemia Samity Hospital, Ahmed Medical Center, Alok Nibash, and Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute. His visit highlighted the immense courage of the children and the unwavering support of their families in the face of these serious health challenges.

In addition to his hospital visits, Axiom REACH Foundation hosted a special dinner to honor the healthcare professionals involved in pediatric care. Mr. Sikder personally expressed his gratitude to the doctors and medical staff for their tireless efforts in providing high-quality care and support to these young patients.

Axiom’s Children’s Cancer Fund, in collaboration with nine local hospitals and numerous healthcare providers, plays a pivotal role in enhancing pediatric care in Bangladesh. The initiative supports vital treatments such as chemotherapy, blood transfusions, bone marrow transplants, and therapies for rare diseases. With the expansion of its operations in Bangladesh, the Foundation is committed to ensuring that no child is deprived of life-saving treatment, regardless of their circumstances.
