FIFA President Gianni Infantino will attend the Youth Festival in Bangladesh in January 2025, following an invitation from the Chief Adviser of the Interim Government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus. On Tuesday, November 12, Infantino met with Dr. Yunus on the sidelines of the COP-29 conference in Baku, Azerbaijan. During their meeting, Dr. Yunus extended the invitation, which Infantino accepted.

The Chief Adviser also sought Infantino’s cooperation in bringing several renowned women’s football teams from around the world to Bangladesh for the event.
