Miss Earth Bangladesh 2025 Somaya Harun Arrives in the Philippines to Represent Bangladesh on the Global Stage

Bangladesh proudly marks another milestone on the global stage as Miss Earth Bangladesh 2025 and Miss Bangladesh 2025, Ms. Somaya Harun, has arrived in the Philippines to participate in one of the world’s top four international beauty pageants — Miss Earth 2025.

Somaya landed in Manila on October 20, becoming the second Bangladeshi delegate to compete in Miss Earth under the leadership and guidance of National Director Ms. Meghna Alam. This year, Bangladesh sends a confident, accomplished, and purpose-driven representative, selected through a rigorous, merit-based national selection process involving online applications and personal interviews.

Education, Profession, and Global Vision

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Somaya Harun is deeply passionate about advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Professionally, she works in business development with a company supporting expatriate entrepreneurs in Canada.

As a Bangladeshi–Canadian, Somaya embodies the perfect fusion of global awareness and patriotic pride — reflecting the intellect, strength, and cultural richness of modern Bangladesh.

Farewell with Purpose and Pride

Before her departure, National Director Ms. Meghna Alam personally saw Somaya off at the airport. Speaking on the occasion, Meghna Alam — a visionary in Bangladesh’s pageantry and international cultural representation — reaffirmed her mission:
