[Tehran, July 25, 2025] — If Israel launches another aggression against Iran, Tel Aviv's military and economic backbone will be crushed, warned Tehran’s interim Friday prayer leader Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabi Fard.
Delivering this week's Friday sermon, he declared:
“From the very first hour of enemy aggression, a strong bond of national unity, the people’s support, and sovereign resolve is forged within Iran. The Iranian nation has demonstrated an unprecedented example of unity and social solidarity. We must protect this valuable asset through wisdom, science, knowledge, faith, and moral virtues.”
He further stated that in the 12-day war, Israel faced one of the most complex strategic crises — based on analysis from at least 20 Hebrew, Arab, and Western sources.
“According to information hidden under strict censorship by Israeli security agencies, Iran’s attacks inflicted an estimated loss of $30 to $35 billion on Israel — about 8% of its GDP.”
Aboutorabi Fard stressed that Iran’s military and security forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression:
“Israel has already witnessed the consequences of its mistake. If it repeats such a blunder, its military and economic infrastructure will be completely shattered.”
He added that on June 13, Israel launched a 12-day war targeting Iran’s military, nuclear, and residential areas.
In response, on June 22, the United States struck Iran’s Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan nuclear facilities.
Reacting to this aggression, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force conducted “Operation True Promise III”, launching 22 retaliatory missile strikes that caused widespread damage across various cities in the occupied territories.
Additionally, in response to the U.S. assault, Iran fired missiles at the Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest U.S. military base in West Asia.
A ceasefire that came into effect on June 24 has temporarily halted the conflict.
