Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned in clear terms that if Israel continues its attacks, Iran is prepared to deliver a “more devastating response.” According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, Pezeshkian issued this warning during a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday.

He stated, “Iran will continue its peaceful nuclear program and will not retreat from this right.”

‘Nuclear Program Cannot Be Halted Through Threats’

Addressing Macron, Pezeshkian said, “We are ready to offer all necessary guarantees to build international confidence regarding our nuclear activities, but our legitimate civilian nuclear rights cannot be taken away through threats, military strikes, or pressure.”

‘Ready for Dialogue and Cooperation’

Pezeshkian further stated, “Iran is prepared for dialogue and cooperation with the international community, provided it is based on mutual respect and trust.”

According to analysts, the Iranian president’s remarks are a clear political and diplomatic message to Israel and the Western world. It could also serve as a warning to the United States, which is currently reassessing its stance in the conflict.

Meanwhile, Israel’s continued airstrikes have already caused significant casualties and damage to infrastructure in Iran. In retaliation, Iran has launched ballistic missile attacks on Israeli targets, further complicating the war situation across the Middle East.

International Concern

French President Macron emphasized the importance of dialogue and highlighted the need for diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region. However, given how rapidly the situation is evolving, uncertainty remains about the effectiveness of these diplomatic initiatives.

Analysts suggest that Pezeshkian’s statement may indicate another step toward war—especially if Israel does not halt its attacks.
