The United States and the United Kingdom have expressed deep concern over Iran’s nuclear program. Following a meeting in London on Thursday, U.K. Foreign Secretary David Lammy and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a joint statement clearly declaring, "Iran must never acquire nuclear weapons."

In the statement, Lammy said, "The situation in the Middle East is extremely dangerous right now. We discussed ways to find a sustainable long-term solution to the nuclear issue." He also added, "There is now a real possibility of reaching a diplomatic resolution within the next two weeks."

According to Rubio’s spokesperson, "The United States and the United Kingdom are in full agreement that Iran must never be allowed to develop or obtain nuclear weapons."

Earlier, the White House announced that President Donald Trump will make a final decision within the next two weeks on possible U.S. involvement in the Iran situation.

Analysts believe this joint statement, issued amid the ongoing Iran-Israel tensions and military conflict, reflects a unified strategic stance by the Western powers. In the coming weeks, both diplomatic negotiations and potential military action are expected to be closely watched by the international community.
