Tehran, June 17, 2025 — Iran’s state-affiliated Tasnim news agency has claimed that a missile strike by Iranian forces targeted the headquarters of Israel’s national intelligence agency, Mossad, causing a fire at the facility. The outlet also released several images showing a building in flames, which it alleges to be the result of the attack.

According to the Tasnim report, the attack was carried out by the Aerospace Unit of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). In a statement published on Telegram, the IRGC said,
“Despite the presence of advanced defense systems, IRGC Aerospace Force fighters successfully struck a military intelligence center in a precise operation.”

As of now, there has been no official statement from the Israeli government or defense authorities regarding the incident.

It’s worth noting that Israel has strict government regulations prohibiting open reporting on certain security and intelligence facilities, limiting domestic media coverage on such matters.

International analysts warn that this attack could significantly escalate the already heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. However, the claims have not yet been independently verified by any international source.
