Tel Aviv, June 17, 2025 — Due to the ongoing intense military conflict between Israel and Iran, the Chinese embassy in Israel has instructed Chinese nationals to leave the country as soon as possible. In a statement issued Tuesday, the embassy said that for the sake of “personal safety,” all Chinese citizens currently residing in Israel are being urged to exit the country without delay.

In a statement posted on WeChat, the Chinese embassy said:
“All Chinese citizens currently in Israel are advised to leave the country as quickly as possible via land routes, with particular recommendation to head toward Jordan.”

The embassy further noted that in recent days the conflict has been “continuously escalating,” and numerous civilian structures have been damaged as a result.

The statement added:
“The number of civilian casualties continues to rise, and the overall security situation is deteriorating rapidly.”

It is worth noting that the ongoing Israel-Iran tensions have sparked fears of a broader regional war in the Middle East. In response, various countries around the world are issuing safety alerts for their citizens. China has also taken steps to evacuate its nationals promptly from the conflict zone.
