Elon Musk is a complete fraud, staging drama to cover up his failures—this news has emerged amid the ongoing heated conflict between Treasury Secretary Scott Baesant, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and former President Donald Trump.

In an interview with The Washington Post, influential right-wing podcaster Stephen K. Bannon claimed that Musk struck Baesant’s ribs with his shoulder over some disagreements.

According to Bannon, both were lobbying at the White House to recommend their preferred candidates for the interim IRS commissioner post. Trump ultimately sided with Baesant’s recommendation.

As Baesant was leaving the White House, he asked Musk about his previously declared claim of discovering one trillion dollars in government budget waste and fraud, which has yet to be realized.

Baesant then shouted at Musk: “You are a fraud. A complete fraud.”

Angered by this, Musk allegedly pushed Baesant in the ribs with his shoulder, Bannon claimed.

Bannon said many rushed in to stop the scuffle and Musk was escorted out of the West Wing. “President Trump later heard about it and said, ‘This has gone too far,’” Bannon added.

This is not the first time Bannon has spoken about this incident. In an interview last month with the Daily Mail, he said the feud began when Baesant questioned Musk’s extreme failure to implement the large-scale budget-cutting plan announced under the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Bannon told the Daily Mail, “Scott Baesant asked him, ‘You promised us a trillion-dollar budget cut; now it’s down to just 100 billion, nobody can find anything—what are you doing?’ That’s when Elon became physical. It’s a very sensitive subject for him.”

Bannon further said, “It wasn’t an argument; it was a direct physical confrontation. Elon pushed him.”

Discussion about the incident intensified when Musk appeared with Trump in the Oval Office on May 30 and announced his withdrawal from DOGE.

Many Republican politicians believe that President Donald Trump, trying to dodge responsibility for the administration’s budget waste, has started this new drama to cover up Elon Musk’s complete failure in fulfilling his responsibilities at DOGE.

After black marks appeared under Musk’s eyes on social media, many speculate it could be a result of the confrontation with Baesant. However, neither Musk nor Baesant has publicly commented on the matter so far.
