- Report-Ashiqur Rahman,Awami League leaders and activists, led by former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, organized a protest march in Jackson Heights, New York on October 13. The protest aimed at condemning the killing of garment workers, rising commodity prices, deteriorating law and order, and mass arrests of Awami League activists under the interim government. During the protest, present leaders and activists demanded for the resignation of Bangladesh current interim government chief advisor Dr. Yunus.
