If India Considers Any Operation on Pakistani Soil, It Will Have to Face the Consequences – Pakistan                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    According to a report by BBC Bangla, Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said, “If India is thinking about carrying out any operation on Pakistani soil, let it not be under any misapprehension — India will have to face the consequences.”He made this statement during a press conference held in Islamabad after a meeting of the National Security Committee.Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and other ministers were also present at the press conference.Defense Minister Asif stated that if Pakistani citizens are not safe, India will also have to suffer the consequences.He added that Pakistan has intelligence suggesting India is planning terrorist attacks in Pakistani cities.He further said, “If India carries out any activity in any Pakistani city or harms any Pakistani citizen, then Pakistan will respond in the same manner.”At the press conference, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said, “We condemn terrorist activities happening anywhere, including India. But we also have the full right to defend ourselves.”Accusing India, he said that terrorists including those from the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are present in Afghanistan, and the nature of terrorism in Pakistan is similar to that in India. He cited Kulbhushan Jadhav as living proof of India's involvement in terrorism.The Defense Minister claimed that leaders of the Baloch Liberation Army and Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan are currently receiving medical treatment in India.“Let there be no doubt – we are fully prepared to respond to any Indian operation,” he declared.Asif further stated, “If India takes any step, we will respond just as strongly as we did during Pulwama in the past. We will not yield to any international pressure.”At the same press conference, the Foreign Minister said that permanent members of the UN Security Council have welcomed Pakistan’s statements, describing them as positive steps.He also addressed India’s unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it “completely unacceptable.” He said, “India cannot do this, because the World Bank is the mediator in this treaty, and there is no provision in the agreement for a unilateral suspension.”
