Washington, March 4: Despite a heated verbal spat with President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his readiness for renewed meetings and to sign a mineral deal with the United States.

Washington, March 4: Despite a heated verbal spat with President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his readiness for renewed meetings and to sign a mineral deal with the United States.

In an interview with British media outlet BBC, Zelensky said, "I want Ukraine’s position to be clearly heard. We want to remind our partners who the real aggressor is in this war."

Zelensky Expresses Gratitude to the United States

In a video message posted on X, Zelensky said, "We understand the importance of America, and we are grateful for the support we have received from them."

He continued, "We feel this gratitude every day. The role of our partners in preserving our independence is crucial. However, what we need is peace, not endless war. That’s why security guarantees are the key."

Zelensky added, "We are in our own country, and we are still strong. We have thanked you for your support."
