Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had a phone call on Sunday with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss regional developments and international issues, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had a phone call on Sunday with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss regional developments and international issues, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During the call, the two leaders discussed joint cooperation and ways to enhance it, as well as exchanged views on regional and international developments. They also discussed the latest developments and efforts toward achieving security and stability.

French President Macron said, "We discussed the situation in Gaza and commended Saudi Arabia's efforts alongside the Arab League, which France will support at the European level."

They also discussed the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and the complete withdrawal of Israel.

The situation in Syria was also discussed during the Paris Conference, which was an important moment of hope where support and commitments to the Syrian people and local authorities were reaffirmed.

Additionally, they talked about Russia's war in Ukraine and discussed the role Saudi Arabia could play in fostering solid and lasting peace with Europeans at the center of the process.
