Social Welfare Minister Dr Dipu Moni MP said, Bangladesh’s relationship with China is very old. This relationship will deepen through the exchange of culture.
The minister said these things while speaking as the chief guest at The 2024 “voices of spring – Golden dreams” cross border spring festival evening gala (Dhaka session) organized by the China Embassy, Dhaka at the National Theater auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka today.
The minister said that in the past, China has helped us to maintain our national sovereignty, independence, geographical integrity and security from outside interference. Under the joint guidance of our great leaders, Bangladesh-China relations have improved a lot. .14 mega projects have been completed and are in progress with the cooperation of China. Through these mega projects, new doors of relations with China have been opened.
The minister said that our relationship with China is very old. We have learned a lot about our culture and history from the writings of Hiuen Tsang and Fa-Hien of China. Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman visited China in the 50s.
Referring to the good bilateral relations, the minister said that since Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was recently re-elected, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier State Councilor Li Qiang
Congratulated the Prime Minister.
The minister said that China-Bangladesh cultural exchange has led to bilateral development of two eastern civilizations. In today’s event, the young generation will be inspired by the joint performance of the cultural workers of Yuan Province and the students of Bangladesh.

At the end, there was a charming cultural program performed by artists from Yunnan province and students from Bangladesh.
