In the Copa del Rey quarterfinals, Barcelona secured a dominant 5-0 victory over Valencia to book their place in the semifinals. The match saw forward Ferran Torres in excellent form, scoring a hat-trick within just 30 minutes to play a key role in his team’s win.

Torres opened the scoring in the third minute, breaking through Valencia’s offside trap and calmly slotting home. His second goal came as a tap-in after Lamine Yamal's shot hit the post. The hat-trick was completed with a brilliant shot from Torres following a pass from Raphinha.

Barcelona added another goal through Fermin Lopez, who broke through Valencia’s defense to score. In the second half, Yamal struck a deflected shot into the net, ensuring Barcelona's 5-0 victory.

With this win, Barcelona secured their spot in the Copa del Rey semifinals, where they could face Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid. Barcelona last won the Copa del Rey in the 2020-21 season and were eliminated by Real Madrid in the 2022-23 season.

Real Sociedad also booked their place in the semifinals with a 2-0 victory over Osasuna.
