Central Chhatra Dal’s protest march aimed at realizing one-sided demands

Chhatra Dal Central Committee leaders held a protest march at Mirpur 2 of the capital on the 1st day of the 4th blockade program called by BNP in order to realize one-point demand.

“The ruling Awami League in Bangladesh is organizing the twelfth national parliament election after being in power for the third consecutive term. For these fifteen years, the main opposition party in Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party – BNP has been agitating against the government for various reasons. Thousands of activists have been subjected to lawsuits and various forms of harassment. Well-armed law enforcement forces face opposition protests on the streets. Leaders and activists of all levels of the government party are active. Shakir Ahmed, Joint Secretary of Chhatra Dal Central Committee, “said that Tarap is also agitating for the establishment of democracy in an unequal competition, giving up the illusion of life.”

On Sunday (November 12) noon, the procession started from Mirpur No. 2 and ended at Sony Cinema Hall Chattar. More than half a hundred student leaders of Chhatra Dal’s central Committee participated. In the protest march, they shouted slogans to demand one party.
