Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone with President Donald Trump on Tuesday, during which Putin assured him that Moscow has no aggressive plans toward Europe, according to a senior Kremlin official.
Yuri Ushakov, Putin’s foreign policy adviser, said the Russian president addressed speculation about Moscow’s alleged hostile intentions toward European countries and made clear that Russia has no aggressive plans against Europe.
During the call, Putin also briefed Trump on the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine, including Russia’s plans to make further gains and achieve its military objectives.
