Secret Service Aware of Iranian State Media Video Threatening Barron Trump’s Life

The U.S. Secret Service has confirmed that it is aware of a video aired by Iranian state media that appears to threaten the life of Barron Trump, President Donald Trump’s youngest son.

Secret Service spokesperson Nate Herring said in a statement that the agency is aware of the video and investigates anything that could be perceived as a threat to people under its protection.

“Out of concern for operational security, we do not discuss matters of protective intelligence,” Herring said.

Since the U.S. assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iranian media have circulated content on multiple occasions threatening President Trump and members of his family.

The assassination occurred at the beginning of the war in Iran, which Trump launched alongside Israel.
