Middle East | March 4, 2026: Iranian missile attacks continued for a fourth consecutive day as regional tensions escalated sharply amid ongoing U.S. and Israeli military operations under “Operation Epic Fury.”

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), multiple missiles were launched from Iran toward Israeli territory on Tuesday, triggering nationwide air defense responses and emergency alerts for civilians.

The IDF confirmed that its aerial defense systems were actively working to intercept the incoming threats. Sirens were activated across several areas, and residents were instructed to seek immediate shelter.

Israel’s Home Front Command sent emergency alerts directly to mobile phones in affected regions, urging civilians to enter protected spaces and remain there until further notice.

“Exit from the protected space will be permitted only after receiving an explicit directive,” the IDF stated.

Rocket trails were reportedly visible in the skies above Hebron in the Israeli-occupied West Bank as fresh waves of Iranian missiles targeted Israeli areas.

The latest barrage comes after U.S. and Israeli forces carried out coordinated strikes across Tehran and other strategic sites on March 3. Targets reportedly included missile facilities and military infrastructure linked to Iran’s expanding regional operations.

President Donald J. Trump has vowed to continue military operations with what he described as “ferocious” resolve, stating that it is now “too late” for Iran to pursue negotiations to avoid a broader war.

In retaliation, Iran launched drones and missiles targeting oil facilities and U.S. diplomatic missions in the Gulf region. Meanwhile, Israel has reportedly expanded ground operations into southern Lebanon, engaging forces linked to Hezbollah, the Tehran-backed militia that has entered the conflict.

U.S. Issues Warning to Citizens

Amid growing instability, U.S. authorities have renewed urgent warnings for American citizens across the Middle East, advising heightened caution and encouraging registration with the State Department for possible evacuation assistance.

Military analysts say the sustained Iranian missile barrages are also testing allied interceptor systems and missile defense reserves, raising concerns about the durability of regional defense capabilities if attacks continue at the current pace.

The situation remains fluid, with fears increasing that the conflict could expand into a broader regional war.
