The High Commissioner of Australia to Bangladesh, H.E. Susan Ryle, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Army Staff (CAS) of the Bangladesh Army at Army Headquarters in Dhaka on Tuesday.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged warm and cordial greetings, reflecting the friendly relations between Bangladesh and Australia. The discussion focused on a range of issues aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the military sector.
High Commissioner Susan Ryle conveyed that the Australian government is prepared to extend support for the development and capacity-building of the Bangladesh Military. She reaffirmed Australia’s interest in deepening defense ties through cooperation, training, and professional exchanges.
Welcoming the proposal, the Chief of Army Staff expressed appreciation for Australia’s willingness to support Bangladesh’s military development.
