“Former President Obama Tried to Influence American Election Through Russian Conspiracy” – Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard

[Washington, July 19] — Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard made explosive claims Friday night on Fox News’ popular program “Hannity,” stating that former President Barack Obama and his administration crafted a politically driven Russian collusion narrative in an attempt to reject the outcome of the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Gabbard revealed that she has released a compilation of previously classified documents which detail how senior officials in the Obama administration deliberately laid the groundwork for the Trump-Russia collusion story against President Donald Trump.

“This wasn’t just aimed at a political party—this was a direct attack on the decision of the American people and the democratic process,” Gabbard declared.

According to her, over 100 intelligence and national security documents provide evidence clearly showing that President Obama, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, and others carried out a well-orchestrated “deep conspiracy.” Their goal, she claimed, was to illegitimately remove President Trump from office through prolonged investigations and a media campaign.

She added that the consequences of this conspiracy included:

• The Robert Mueller investigation, costing over $40 million,

• Political smears against President Trump and his family,

• Arrests and interrogations of his closest aides,

• And unnecessary escalation in tensions between the United States and Russia.

Gabbard announced that she would officially refer these documents to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for further investigation.

“Uncovering the truth and holding those involved accountable is essential to protecting our democracy,” said Gabbard.

Comment on the Steele Dossier:
Gabbard also alleged that the Obama-directed intelligence assessments included the infamous Steele dossier, a document that had already been dismissed by intelligence agencies before the election as unreliable and irrelevant.

In a follow-up interview Saturday morning on Fox & Friends, Gabbard stated:

“The actions of the Obama administration amount to nothing short of a treasonous conspiracy. Regardless of rank or power, every individual involved must be held accountable under the law.”
