"Joe Biden Died in 2020—What You’re Seeing Is a Replica," Claims Donald Trump
Washington, June 1, 2025 —
U.S. President Donald Trump shared a controversial post over the weekend on Truth Social, claiming that Former President Joe Biden died in 2020 and has since been replaced by a lifeless, brainless clone, double, or robotic entity.
Trump posted a link to the claim from his personal Truth Social account on Saturday, though he did not add any personal commentary. The original post came from a small account on the platform and was made in the context of ongoing speculation about Biden’s physical health.
The post read:
“The real Joe Biden is gone—executed in 2020. What we are seeing now is a clone, double, or robotic, lifeless and brainless version of him.”
It also claimed:
“Democrats can’t tell the difference,”
and included a series of related hashtags.
As of now, the White House has not responded to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on the matter.
Trump also shared several more posts on Saturday night without commentary. Many of these highlighted his efforts to bring steel manufacturing back to the United States.
This controversial post comes at a time when fresh speculation is circulating about President Biden’s health. Recently, Biden publicly announced that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer—a form of cancer that typically develops gradually over several years. This revelation has led some to question whether members of the previous administration were already aware of Biden’s condition but withheld the information from the public, even while promoting his candidacy for a second term.
Despite the controversy, Trump also struck a different tone over the weekend. He and his wife, Melania Trump, expressed sympathy upon hearing about Biden’s diagnosis and wished him a speedy recovery.
Trump wrote in a post:
“Melania and I are deeply saddened by Joe Biden’s recent medical announcement. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Jill Biden and their entire family, and we pray for Joe Biden’s swift and full recovery.”
