Beijing, China: The President of China, Xi Jinping, and the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, held an important meeting today at the People's Great Hall in Beijing. The two leaders discussed bilateral matters of mutual interest and highlighted various steps to enhance the relationship between the two countries.

Professor Yunus participated in an "Investment Dialogue" with Chinese business leaders this morning, aimed at informing Chinese investors about the business-friendly environment in Bangladesh. The dialogue focused on attracting Chinese investments to Bangladesh's development and discussed various initiatives to promote investment in the country.

Additionally, the Chief Adviser participated in three roundtable discussions at the same venue in Beijing. The topics of the discussions were: "Sustainable Infrastructure and Energy Investments," "Bangladesh 2.0: Production and Market Potential," and "Social Business, Youth Entrepreneurship, and the Future of a Three-Zero World." The sessions focused on Bangladesh's future economic prospects and new investment opportunities.

On Friday, the Chief Adviser, Professor Yunus, participated in a high-level roundtable discussion on sustainable infrastructure and energy at the Presidential Hotel in Beijing. During this discussion, he engaged with Chinese businesspeople and investors on enhancing global cooperation in infrastructure development and the energy sector.

Later, Professor Yunus participated in an important "Investment Dialogue" with Chinese businesspeople, where he highlighted Bangladesh’s business environment and various aspects of attracting Chinese investment to the country.

On the same day, the Chief Adviser also met with Chinese President Han Zheng at a government guesthouse in Beijing. In this meeting, they discussed the development of China-Bangladesh relations and opportunities for future economic cooperation.

Furthermore, Professor Yunus will attend a dinner hosted by Bangladesh’s Ambassador to China, where he will exchange views with CEOs of various Chinese enterprises and experts in the social business sector.

This meeting is expected to play a key role in Bangladesh's future development and in deepening China-Bangladesh relations.
