Gaza, January 5, 2025: In 2024, Israeli forces destroyed 815 mosques in Gaza and partially damaged another 151, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs.
The ministry's report also noted that 19 cemeteries were destroyed in the Israeli attacks, with graves desecrated and bodies exhumed, as reported by the Wafa news agency.
Additionally, the report stated that three churches in Gaza were also struck and destroyed in the Israeli attacks. These bombings have had a significant impact on Gaza's infrastructure and religious institutions.
