Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni Meets with President Donald Trump in Florida

West Palm Beach, Florida, January 5, 2025: Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with President-elect Donald Trump in Florida on Saturday, as she sought to strengthen ties between the two countries ahead of Trump's inauguration.

During her visit to Florida, Meloni arrived at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, where Trump introduced her to the guests, who welcomed her with applause, as shown in videos shared on social media.

This visit comes just before Meloni is scheduled to meet with U.S. President Joe Biden in Rome, from January 8 to January 12. Trump defeated Biden in the November election and is now preparing to return to the White House.
