Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's testimony in his ongoing corruption trial has been moved to a new location due to security concerns. According to The Times of Israel, Netanyahu's scheduled testimony on December 10, originally set to take place at a court in Jerusalem, will now be held at a secure underground facility in Tel Aviv.
The decision to relocate the trial comes after Israeli security agency Shin Bet informed the court of potential threats against the Prime Minister. Due to the lack of sufficient bomb shelters at the Jerusalem courthouse, the move to a more secure venue was deemed necessary.
Netanyahu is facing charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust in three separate cases filed against him in 2019. The relocation of his testimony underscores the heightened security concerns surrounding the trial.
