Just hours before his latest arrest, the Islamabad High Court had granted bail to Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case, requiring him to submit two surety bonds of PKR 1 million each. In response to the developments, PTI has announced a mass rally in Rawalpindi on November 24 to demand Imran Khan’s release. Authorities, however, have extended Section 144 until November 26, banning all public gatherings, processions, and assemblies of more than four people to prevent protests.
