The death toll in Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza has risen to more than 69,000, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, as Israeli air and ground assaults continued across the besieged enclave for the 13th consecutive month.
Israeli warplanes struck densely populated areas in Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Rafah, killing dozens overnight. Entire families were reported buried under rubble as rescue teams struggled to reach victims due to the lack of fuel and heavy bombardment.
“We are pulling out bodies with our bare hands. The smell of death is everywhere,” said a volunteer with Gaza’s Civil Defense.
Hospitals remain overwhelmed, with medical supplies nearly exhausted. Health officials warned that thousands of injured people face death due to shortages of medicine, fuel, and clean water.
In the occupied West Bank, Israeli settlers and soldiers carried out multiple raids, killing several Palestinians in Jenin, Nablus, and Hebron. Local residents reported home demolitions, mass arrests, and road blockades.
International organizations, including the United Nations, have condemned the ongoing violence, calling for an immediate ceasefire and unrestricted humanitarian access to Gaza.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue the offensive, claiming it was necessary to “eliminate Hamas.”
As the conflict drags on, more than 2 million Palestinians remain trapped under siege conditions — with destroyed infrastructure, collapsed hospitals, and limited access to food and shelter.
