MBS Calls for Unity Among Muslim Nations Over Gaza and Lebanon Crisis

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) has called for an immediate end to Israel’s military aggression in Gaza and Lebanon. Speaking at the opening of a joint summit of the Arab League and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Riyadh on Monday, the crown prince urged global recognition of an independent Palestinian state.

Condemning the “massacre” against Palestinians and Lebanese people, MBS said, “Israel must cease all forms of military aggression immediately. I call upon all nations to recognize the sovereign state of Palestine.”

Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, also expressed deep concern over Israel’s military operations. He stated, “The suffering of the Palestinian people is beyond words. Israel’s actions are undermining efforts to establish long-lasting peace. Justice is the only path to peace.”

Analysts believe this summit could pave the way for new strategies to achieve peace in the Middle East.
