The Gaza Health Ministry has reported that at least 74 Palestinians were killed and 391 others injured in the past 24 hours due to Israeli military strikes. Additionally, five more bodies were recovered from the rubble of previous attacks.
According to the ministry’s latest figures, the total number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of the ongoing war in Gaza has now reached 56,156, with 132,239 others injured.
In a statement, the Health Ministry said:
“What once sparked global outrage and condemnation — the indiscriminate killing of unarmed, starving Palestinians seeking food aid — has now become the grim reality in Gaza.”
Starving Gazans are risking their lives every day to reach Israeli-approved aid distribution centers in hopes of receiving a small amount of food. Too often, this desperate journey ends in bloodshed and death. Despite drawing international attention, the scale of the humanitarian crisis has seen little improvement.
The situation continues to deteriorate as violence, food scarcity, and the collapse of healthcare services combine to create a devastating humanitarian catastrophe across the entire Gaza Strip.
