No Nuclear Talks If Israeli Strikes Continue – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian

French President Emmanuel Macron held a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. During the discussion, Macron urged Iran to “exercise maximum restraint to avoid escalation” and called on Tehran to return to nuclear negotiations as soon as possible.

However, President Pezeshkian made it clear to Macron:
“As long as Israeli attacks continue, Iran will not sit at any negotiating table.”

This firm stance from Iran came shortly after Sunday’s announcement that the scheduled U.S.-Iran nuclear talks had been canceled.
