In a telephone conversation with Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani strongly condemned the Israeli attacks. He described the attacks as a “direct violation of Iran’s sovereignty and security” and a “clear breach of international law and norms.”
An official statement from the Amiri Diwan of Qatar said that Emir Sheikh Tamim expressed concerns that the attack could destabilize the entire region and emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts to resolve the ongoing crisis.
He called on all parties to exercise restraint to ensure regional stability and peace, stressing the need to pursue diplomatic solutions for achieving comprehensive peace.
This phone call took place at a time when tensions between Iran and Israel in the Middle East have escalated to new levels, and calls for ceasefire and dialogue from the international community are growing louder.
