Action Against Israel Was Essential to Restore National Pride and the People's Rights – Iranian Spokesperson Mohajerani

Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani has stated that punitive measures against Israel were "essential to restore our national pride and to reclaim the rightful rights of our people." Her remarks came following Iran’s overnight retaliatory missile strikes.

In an interview with Mehr News Agency, Mohajerani said,
"This punitive response was necessary in reply to the terrorist and barbaric acts committed by the occupying Zionist regime."
"Accordingly, under the orders of the armed forces' commander and in coordination with the armed forces, this action was taken. Naturally, such retaliatory measures will continue, and if deemed necessary, they may be repeated at any time and place."

It is worth noting that Iran launched the retaliatory missile strikes just one day after Israel carried out large-scale attacks on Iranian nuclear and military facilities, resulting in the deaths of top generals and nuclear scientists.
