At Least 78 Iranians Killed, 375 Injured in Israeli Strikes on Tehran Including 20 Military Commanders and 6 Nuclear Scientists
[Tehran, June 13, 2025] — Two regional sources told Reuters that at least 20 top Iranian military commanders, including Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of the Revolutionary Guards’ Aerospace Force, were killed in Israel’s Friday airstrikes.
Israeli Attacks: Tehran Reports 78 Dead, Over 325 Injured; Mossad-Supported Operation Ongoing
The Israeli military continues to carry out attacks targeting Iran’s military and nuclear facilities as well as key cities.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei condemned the strikes as a “crime” and warned Israel to “prepare for severe punishment.” The attack reportedly killed several top military commanders and six nuclear scientists.
U.S. President Donald Trump said there is still time for Iran to reach a nuclear deal; otherwise, “nothing will remain of the country.”
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated that Iran launched more than 100 drones immediately after the strikes, which the IDF is working to intercept.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the military operation would continue “as long as necessary.”
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio clarified that the United States is not involved in the attacks on Iran and warned Tehran not to target U.S. bases.
