U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance expressed his full support for President Donald Trump’s stance, saying, “This moment demands strong leadership. The President will not tolerate riots and violence in any form.” He shared this message on social media, endorsing Trump’s position.
President Trump has called for immediate federal intervention in Los Angeles, alleging that “the city is overrun and under siege by illegal immigrants and criminals,” and that it is currently facing violent unrest.
In a statement, Trump declared, “Violent insurgents are surrounding and attacking our federal agents to try and halt our deportation operations.” He warned, “These lawless riots only strengthen our resolve.”
Trump instructed Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi to coordinate with all relevant departments and agencies to “liberate Los Angeles from this immigrant invasion and bring an end to this immigrant-driven rioting.”
He firmly stated, “Order will be restored, illegal immigrants will be deported, and Los Angeles will be freed.” He urged the public to stay alert and watch the situation closely.
It’s worth noting that the protests began after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted widespread operations across Los Angeles, arresting numerous undocumented immigrants. In response, President Trump deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to suppress the unrest.
On his Truth Social account, Trump wrote:
“The once-great city of Los Angeles is now overrun and occupied by illegal immigrants and criminals. Violent insurgents are surrounding our federal agents in an attempt to sabotage our deportation efforts — but these unlawful riots only strengthen our determination.
I am directing Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi to coordinate with all relevant departments and agencies to free Los Angeles from this immigrant invasion and take all necessary steps to end the immigrant riots.
Order will be restored, illegals will be deported, and Los Angeles will be liberated. Thank you for keeping a close eye on this issue!”
