As part of international efforts to resolve the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, and France met on Friday in Paris, the capital of France. This was confirmed in a statement by Egypt’s State Information Service.

In a joint statement issued after the meeting, it was said that discussions focused on international efforts to halt the Gaza war, ways to deliver humanitarian aid, and initiatives to stop all kinds of violations against Palestinians by Israel.

The statement also noted that preparations were discussed for an upcoming international conference to be held at the United Nations headquarters in June. The conference will focus on the "Two-State Solution."

Participants in the meeting included the foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and France’s foreign minister Jean-Noël Barrot. The meeting was held under the framework of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee, aiming to review the latest situation in Gaza and to seek opportunities to move forward on a sustainable path to peace.

This joint diplomatic initiative is seen internationally as a renewed active effort to address the Gaza crisis.
