A massive protest rally was held in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, on Friday in condemnation of Israel’s continuous airstrikes and military operations in the Gaza Strip.

Protesters expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people, chanting anti-Israel slogans and demanding an immediate halt to the attacks on Gaza. Demonstrators took to the streets holding Palestinian flags and protest placards.

The protest, backed by the Houthi-controlled government, drew thousands of participants. Speakers at the rally stated that Israel’s aggression targets not only Palestine but the entire Muslim world. They urged the international community to take effective action against the attacks.

It is worth noting that the ongoing Israeli military campaign in Gaza has resulted in hundreds of deaths and injuries. Numerous civilian infrastructures have been destroyed, and hundreds of thousands have been displaced, leading to a severe humanitarian crisis.

The protest in Sanaa is seen as a reflection of growing global concern and public outrage over the situation in Palestine.
