For the First Time, Russia-Arab Summit to Be Held on October 15 – President Vladimir Putin
Moscow, May 17, 2025 – Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that the first-ever Russia-Arab Summit will be held on October 15.
In a message published on the Kremlin’s website on Saturday, coinciding with the 34th Arab League Summit, Putin made the announcement and extended invitations to the leaders of all Arab League member states.
Putin stated:
“I sincerely invite the leaders of all member states of your esteemed organization, as well as the Secretary-General of the Arab League, to participate in the first Russia-Arab Summit scheduled for October 15.”
He emphasized that Russia is eager to maintain constructive dialogue with the Arab League and to deepen friendly relations with all its member countries.
Putin expressed hope that this summit will significantly strengthen mutually beneficial multilateral cooperation and contribute to peace, security, and stability in the Middle East and North Africa region.
