President Donald Trump has arrived in the United Arab Emirates, the second stop of his Middle East tour. Following a grand reception in Qatar, he landed in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, where he was welcomed at Abu Dhabi International Airport by UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to White House sources, during his visit to Qatar, Trump and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani signed several agreements worth approximately $1.2 trillion. Among the most notable is a $96 billion memorandum of understanding with Qatar Airways, under which the airline will purchase 210 Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 777X aircraft.

Additionally, a letter of intent was signed for a $38 billion investment in Qatar's Al-Udeid Air Base and other defense infrastructures.

A key trilateral meeting is scheduled to take place today involving U.S., Turkish, and Syrian officials. The meeting will discuss various aspects of lifting the sanctions imposed by the Trump administration on Syria.

Trump's Middle East tour will conclude in the United Arab Emirates, with Abu Dhabi being his final destination.

Analysts believe the visit is likely to strengthen diplomatic and military cooperation between the U.S. and the Gulf nations.
