India’s Cowardly Attack Has Been Answered – Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif in Address to the Nation
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif delivered a national address in response to India’s recent attacks, calling India’s actions a "grave mistake."
Referring to the previous night's strikes, Sharif said,
“India made a mistake by attacking Pakistan. They will have to pay the price.”
He added,
“India might have thought Pakistan would back down, but they have forgotten that this is a nation that knows how to fight for its country.”
Alluding to Pakistan’s claim of shooting down an Indian aircraft, he stated that the Pakistan Air Force established a robust defense and
“We have responded to them accordingly.”
India has not yet confirmed the downing of any of its aircraft.
Sharif also mentioned that among the 26 people killed in Indian attacks on Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir, one was a seven-year-old boy.
“This boy was at home with his mother and brother when he was killed,” said Sharif.
“I promise that we will avenge every drop of blood spilled.”
Regarding last month’s terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India, Sharif claimed,
“Pakistan had no connection to the attack and has been wrongly accused.”
He emphasized that Pakistan had called for an investigation before any accusations were made and urged India not to ignore their requests.
The Prime Minister concluded his address by calling on the Pakistani people to remain courageous in defending the nation’s security.
