Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum stated on Tuesday that since the start of U.S. President Donald Trump's administration, Mexico has received nearly 39,000 migrants returned from the United States, including 33,000 Mexican nationals.

This marks a significant decrease compared to 2024, when under former U.S. President Joe Biden, around 52,000 migrants were returned to Mexico during the months of February, March, and April.
