A wave of global protests has erupted in response to Israel’s continued brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip. On Saturday, thousands of people across cities in Europe, America, and Bangladesh took to the streets in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Hundreds of Thousands Join ‘March for Gaza’ in Dhaka:
In Bangladesh’s capital, Dhaka, over 100,000 people participated in a massive protest titled “March for Gaza” on Saturday. Demonstrators called for an end to Israel’s atrocities and the liberation of Palestinians trapped in Gaza. Protesters chanted slogans such as “Stop the genocide in Gaza” and “Free Palestine.”

Call for Release of Palestinian Prisoners in Geneva:
In Geneva, Switzerland, a peaceful demonstration was held demanding the release of Palestinian prisoners. Protesters called for respect for Palestinian independence and the human rights of those detained.

New Yorkers Rally in Times Square:
In the United States, hundreds gathered at Times Square in New York City to protest, demanding the release of Palestinian prisoners including Mahmoud Khalil, Badar Khan Soori, Rumeisa Ozturk, Yunseo Chang, and others. Holding placards and flags, they chanted: “Free Palestine” and “Stop the war on Gaza.”

Thousands Protest in Milan, Italy:
In Milan, Italy, thousands of demonstrators marched through the streets chanting “Stop the genocide in Gaza.” They expressed solidarity with the children and innocent civilians of Gaza and condemned Israel’s occupation and acts of war.

These worldwide protests reflect a growing global public outcry over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. There is an increasingly urgent call on the international community to take effective action to end the ongoing conflict.
