Russia's Lower House of Parliament Approves 20-Year Strategic Partnership Agreement with Iran
Moscow, April 8 (Reuters) – Russia's lower house of parliament, the State Duma, on Tuesday approved a 20-year strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Iran.
The agreement, signed on January 17 by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, symbolizes the deepening of military relations between the two countries.
Under the agreement, Russia and Iran will advise each other on military and security threats and participate in joint military exercises, both within their countries and abroad.
This strategic agreement is expected to help establish strong military ties between the two nations, which could have a significant impact on international politics.
