Israeli Brutal Attacks in Gaza Kill at Least 490 Palestinian Children in 20 Days – Gaza Media Office
Gaza City, Palestine: The Gaza Media Office stated on Sunday that Israeli forces have killed 490 children in the Gaza Strip in the past 20 days. Israel has been accused of using a "credible and systematic tactic" to kill Palestinian children.
In its statement, the Gaza Media Office claimed that these child killings are among the most horrific crimes against humanity in modern times. The statement read, "In the past 20 days, Israel has carried out a horrific genocide against childhood, with 490 children martyred in multiple brutal attacks."
It was reported that during this period, a total of 1,350 Palestinians were killed, most of whom were women and children. The Gaza Media Office further stated that while Israel claims these attacks were aimed at military targets, the actual number of child deaths is clear evidence of Israel following a well-planned and deliberate policy that violates international law.
Last week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the escalation of attacks on Gaza, as part of U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to expel Palestinians from Gaza.
Meanwhile, since October 2023, nearly 50,700 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza, the majority of whom are women and children. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants in November for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Israel is also facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice regarding its actions in Gaza.
