The United States and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have signed a 10-year investment agreement worth $1.4 trillion. Under this agreement, the UAE will make significant investments in the U.S. economy over the next decade, including in artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, energy, and the U.S. manufacturing sector.

The agreement was signed following a meeting between the UAE’s National Security Adviser, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and former U.S. President Donald Trump. The meeting recently took place at the White House, with top officials from both the UAE and the United States in attendance.

A White House official stated that this deal would significantly increase the UAE's existing investments in the U.S. economy and further strengthen the long-term strategic partnership between the two countries.

UAE leader Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed gratitude for President Donald Trump's warm welcome and noted that both nations are working together with a shared vision for overall prosperity and progress.

On behalf of the UAE government, it was announced that investments would be increased in artificial intelligence, advanced technology, infrastructure, energy, and healthcare, which are crucial for the country’s long-term development and stable growth.

This agreement is expected to encourage foreign direct investment between the two nations and further strengthen their economic ties.
