Over 400 Palestinians, Including 89 Women and 174 Children, Killed in Israeli Airstrikes - Gaza Media Office
Gaza City – At least 89 women and 174 children, along with over 400 Palestinians, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip last Tuesday. Local authorities confirmed this information on Wednesday, according to the Gaza government's media office.
Ismail al-Thawbah, head of the Gaza government's media office, stated in a statement, "Among the deceased are 89 women, 174 children, and 32 elderly individuals. The majority of those killed in this attack were women, children, and the elderly."
He further noted that these statistics confirm the purposeful plan of Israel's genocide against the people of Gaza.
Since the brutal Israeli military campaign began in October 2023, nearly 50,000 Palestinians have lost their lives, the majority of whom were women and children. Additionally, more than 112,000 people have been injured.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in relation to the genocide in Gaza.
Israel now faces a genocide case in the International Court of Justice over the war in Gaza.
