Finland’s President: Russia Must Accept Ceasefire Proposal Unconditionally

Finland’s President Alexander Stubb has stated that Russia must express a desire for "real peace" and accept the ceasefire proposal from U.S. President Donald Trump without any conditions.

In a joint press conference on Wednesday in Helsinki with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his wife Olena Zelenskyy, Stubb said, "There are two ways to respond to the U.S. President's proposal: yes or no, but with no conditions."

He further added, "Ukraine has accepted the ceasefire proposal without conditions."

It is worth noting that President Zelenskyy and his wife arrived in Helsinki, where they were welcomed at the airport by President Stubb and his wife Susanne Ines-Stubb.

Kiev has stated that Moscow is still not ready for peace, as recent attacks have proven that Russia does not seek a peaceful solution.
