Ukraine has expressed readiness to accept the proposed 30-day ceasefire with Russia, following an announcement by the United States to resume military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

After a meeting in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, both countries issued a joint statement, in which Ukraine confirmed its preparedness to adhere to the U.S.-proposed 30-day ceasefire. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Telegram that the ceasefire would apply not only to missiles, drones, and bombs but would also be effective across the entire military frontline.

U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed hope that Russia will agree to the ceasefire plan, and a meeting with Russia will take place soon.

In light of the ceasefire discussions, the United States has announced the resumption of intelligence sharing with Ukraine and the reinstitution of security assistance, which had been suspended last week. This suspension had made it difficult for Ukraine to track Russian troop movements, protect against missile attacks, and launch counteroffensives.

The joint statement also revealed that both countries had agreed to quickly finalize a comprehensive agreement for the development of Ukraine’s mineral resources, aiming to expand Ukraine’s economy and ensure long-term security.

Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that it is now up to Russia to decide whether they will agree to the proposal. He said, “We will tell Russia that it is now in their hands; Ukraine is ready to stop hostilities and wants to start negotiations.”

Ukrainian President Zelensky stated, “Ukraine is ready for peace, and Russia must show readiness to stop the war, or they must continue the war.”

Meanwhile, Ukraine's largest drone attack was carried out in Moscow and its surrounding areas, where Russian officials reported that 337 drones were destroyed, and four airports in Moscow were temporarily closed.
